- 2 KG Chicken
- 1.5 KG Rice
- 2 medium-size Onions
- Ginger Garlic paste (1 tablespoon)
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1/2 cup Brown Onion
- 1 pinch Edible food color
- 1/4 cup Milk
- Green chilies As per taste
- Fresh Coriander
- chopped mint
- Garam Masala Powder
- 1 Cup Tomatoes
- 2 Chopped Red Chili Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Turmeric Powder
- One Tablespoon Coriander Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon
Chicken Biryani Preparation Steps:
Follow this step by step procedure to make special biryani at your home.
Put 2 tablespoons cooking oil in a cooking pot and place it on the oven. Add two medium-sized onions to hot oil. Keep frying the onions until it gets brown. When you get the brown color of onions then add whole gram masala ingredients including black pepper, clove, cardamom, bay leaves, and cumin seeds. After that add 2 kg chicken to golden brown color fried onions. Cook chicken on high heat until you get the brown color of the chicken. Now, add two tablespoons ginger garlic paste, one tablespoon red chili, one tablespoon turmeric powder, one tablespoon coriander powder.
Cook well all these mixtures at high heat. When you observe small water in your mixture, add one cup yogurt to it. After that cook the mixtures until yogurt water dries. Add 2 tomatoes and 30 ml water at this stage. Now, cover the pot and cook it for almost 30 minutes. Boil the rice and let them 80% uncooked. Add the rice to chicken and further add all left ingredients. In the end, add edible yellow food color in milk and pour over biryani layers.
